So, in our courses we actually suggest that you don't use AliExpress, Oberlo, eBay or any third parties that connect you with suppliers for several reasons -
- AliExpress usually deals with cheaply made products and their customers usually know that they will be getting cheap products. This will cause more work for you in terms of customer support and returns.
- In our courses we go in-depth about how to set-up, maintain and be profitable with your drop shipping website via Shopify. We suggest that you don't sell anything under $200 because of several reasons- Anything below $200 attracts people looking for a deal and they end up having a lot of questions and sending back items which means that you have to spend more time dealing with customer service and returns. Anything under $200 means that you have to sell a large number of those items to meet your monthly goal. If you sell items $200 or more you only have to sell a small amount to meet your goal. Also, you don’t want to sell anything over about $1000 because then you attract pretty wealthy people and they tend to ask a lot of questions and send items back a lot.
- Within our packages we teach our students how to find, contact and build relationships with suppliers. By doing this you ensure that your customers get the best customer experience and that you get the best price. If you go through a 3rd party to contact your suppliers then you are creating a huge separation between yourself and your supplier and the 3rd party will take a cut of your profits meaning less money for you.
